Upcoming project

How do parents regulate their children’s responses to stress in the lab and in real-life contexts? Do parental characteristics play a role in how they modulate their children’s neural responses and daily emotions?

We are currently designing a new study. This upcoming project will examine the neural and social pathways that link parental mental health with children’s daily emotions. Parent–child dyads will visit the lab for EEG and social assessments. Following this, families will complete Ecological Momentary Assessments (EMAs) via smartphone surveys.
