Social Experiences and Emotional Development (SEED) Lab
Welcome to the SEED Lab, directed by Dr. Selin Zeytinoglu, at Tulane University!
We investigate how children’s social experiences with their caregivers and peers, together with their individual characteristics such as temperament, contribute to social and emotional development. We use a multimethod approach that includes neural (EEG/ERPs), physiological (ECG; RSA/PEP), social and behavioral observations, mobile eye-tracking, and self-report measures, including Ecological Momentary Assessments.
